PDF has gone gold and is in queue at Drive Thru RPG!
over 7 years ago – Mon, Nov 07, 2016 at 03:26:25 PM

Hey Folks,

Exciting news! The PDF is complete and I've got it in queue for approval at DriveThruRPG. As soon as it gets approved (they say it can take 1-5 days but they're usually faster than that) you'll all get emails for your download.

We'll send the book to the printer in the next couple of days, I want to do another couple of read throughs just to make sure nothing got missed.

I'll be locking down Backerkit tonight, you'll still be able to change your addresses if you need - oh and if you messaged me here I've already made the changes for you. Cards will be charged on Thursday at around 10AM.

The Pressure and Unit cards will be off to the printer tomorrow. Below you can see the designs for those.

We're finally about done. I really have to thank all of you for sticking in there and letting me work through everything over the past two years. I am really proud of the game and the book. I think you'll enjoy it.

Thanks,

Steve

PS, I'll have another post for the digital stretch goals tomorrow. I've got all the files for the 3dprintable kobolds and will be working to get timeframes for the two additional modules from their authors. I'll have an update on the GuMPO in the next couple of days as well!

Quick update on status
over 7 years ago – Thu, Oct 20, 2016 at 10:13:00 PM

Hey folks,

Just want to catch everyone up with the past week or so of work. Interior layout is done except for a few bits and bobs on the index. Hal is finishing off the cover layout and outside of that we don't have any additional tasks on the main book.  I'm doing a read through tonight on the full layout to verify if there are any additional changes needed. So I believe we're a few days away from sending the book out to the printers. I'll send the PDF to everyone the same day I send the book to the printer.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Module, backer list and index are in layout
over 7 years ago – Sat, Oct 01, 2016 at 12:02:24 AM

Alright, so we have all of the additional content for the book being laid out right now. Specifically the backer list, module and index. When I was writing the index I had a chance to go back through the manuscript with fresh eyes and added a couple of additional paragraphs here and there to make some stuff more clear - those are already edited and inserted as well.

As it stands the last work I'll do is a final pass on the index once all the items are laid out and the page numbers assigned. I expect Hal to finish with the layout this weekend sometime and I'll run through the index Monday or Tuesday if all goes well. I'll also do a final read-through just to catch any last bits of minutia.

So, hopefully, we're looking at the PDF release late next week! That's what I'm shooting for anyway, as long as there aren't major hiccups I think it's absolutely doable.
