Last bits of work

Hey Folks,

 We're nearly done now. Trials of Red Gulch, the beginner module is done and in editing - which should be done tonight or tomorrow - and will be included in the main book. I'm completing the index as we speak and I'm about ready to send off the unit/clock card art for printing (I'll post the finals).

 One last bit that I forgot to take care of on the main survey was collecting the name you want to have printed in the backer section of the book! So time to remedy that! Here's the survey over at survey monkey. I just need the email you use here and the name you would like printed in the backers section. I'll be closing this survey at 10PM EST on Friday the 23rd. If you don't answer by then I'll default to the name on your kickstarter profile. 

And that folks will be the last thing added/changed in the book. So once that's done it'll be a final read through to make sure everything's right and then you'll have the PDF in your inboxes!

I have a bigger post coming but I'm just excited to finally be nearing the end. Gods I just desperately want to get a product out to you folks! Here's a sample of the current layout work. We're still making changes especially to the header and footer text and some of the fonts used for the sections etc. But it's looking purdy! More to come soon!

August Update

Hey folks,

 Just to drop a quick update. We're well into layout, Hal is deep in design work on the book. Should have some samples to show you in the very near future. I was hoping to have it out by Gen Con but that's not happening, besides I don't see much reason to rush Hal at this point. I want to get everything right. 

I've also been doing a lot of thinking about Seed recently. It's the game you all stretch goal'd right at the end there. Well I am pretty sure I have the theme. 

You're a group of brains in jars seeding the universe for your race. You explore 70's Heavy Metal style planets with your custom made drones. There will be a shared resource system, a pool you have to use to keep your ship running and build your new drones. 

Anyway, I'll have a longer update pretty soon. Once I have some of the layout to show off. I'll have updates on all the other stretch goals at that time as well.

Hey everyone,

As we near completion I've finished off the character, village and GM sheets. You can get all the fully updated and redesigned files in this zip.

Up next will be the beginner module Trials of Red Gulch hopefully that should come out sometime in the next week or so. I'll also have the finalized designs for the Unit and External Pressure cards pretty soon. They'll be going to the printer and off to the fulfillment house in the next week or two I think.

Layout has begun again!

As a follow up to Sunday's update I wanted to let everyone know that I've contracted Hal Mangold to take over design and layout duties. Hal came highly recommended by other folks in the industry and I'm happy to have him on board! We are working to hit an early July release for the PDF now.
